Rain Rain Go Away!

We have had a very rainy April. On one hand, it's great for the area as we do not want to experience another drought summer like last year. On the other hand, it's not so great for outdoor recreation like ziplining! We appreciate everyone's understanding with weather-related cancellations this month and we're hoping for a much nicer May.

Here are some photos from recent tour groups :)

Having fun on the Widow Maker

Line number 5 on our High Flyer tour is called the Widow Maker. Don't worry; nobody has ever been hurt on this line - we just think it's a funny name!
One of the cool things we can do when the weather is just right is send a wave down the line which creates a rollercoaster feeling while you zip. We call it our bouncing zipline.
I'm sharing some videos from today's tour where our guests got the ride of their lives!

Some of our guests from our Opening Week!

We had a great opening week with you all! These are just some of the happy customers we had the pleasure of zipping with the first week of April 2013. The weather held off for the most part and we all had a great time flying through (and above!) the trees.
Thanks everyone!

Mike Seper, 'Trep of the Month

Mike Seper, owner of Eco Zipline Tours, was named 'Trep of the Month for the Feburary issue of Entrepreneur magazine. Way to go, Mike! The idea was you were to send in a fun photo of yourself reading the magazine, relating that photo to how you're an entrepreneur. Well, Mike decided he was going to have his photo taken while ziplining! His photo and a write-up were both printed in the magazine. Mike has a true entrepreneurial spirit and he was very excited to be featured in his favorite magazine!

Up Up and Away

We had the pleasure of staying at Up Up and Away, a beautiful B&B set atop the hillside, overlooking beautiful Hermann, MO.

Our group of 5, including a 6 month old, all fit comfortably in the Deck Suite. (Two + Baby were in master bedroom, Two were on the pull-out in the living room).
We selected the deck suite for it's privacy and also because we had an infant with us. As far as my reasearch has gone, most B&Bs in Hermann, MO do not allow children and require all customers must be 18 years of age. As this is a stand alone suite, a crying child will not disturb other guests.

Up Up and Away is one of the few children friendly B&Bs in Hermann.

The master bedroom. It is gorgeous, modern and comfortable.

Nice large tub. There is also an additional double headed shower across the room. Both bathrooms are only accessible by the master bedroom.

The beautiful view. The only way to access the deck suite is by a outdoor staircase. It is not the easiest to manuever but we didn't have any serious issues with it.

A gourmet breakfast is included in the rate and my goodness, it is delicious!
